We invite you to take a break and try Alpha, an opportunity to explore the basics of the Christian faith.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of gatherings where guests have the opportunity to explore life and the Christian Faith in a friendly and inviting atmosphere where no question is seen as too simple or too complex. It’s an opportunity to explore the big questions of life. Why am I here? What is my purpose? Is there more to life than this? Why is there suffering in the world? Who’s it for? Absolutely anybody! Non-Christians, fallen away Catholics, cradle Catholics, anyone interested in exploring or questioning the meaning of life. How does it work? Each session includes a meal (except for the online version!), a short video followed by a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in a small group setting. There’s no obligation to say anything, there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously) and there’s no such thing as a silly question. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest and informal setting. You can watch videos to learn more about Alpha on our website - just click here. Here are the Details: Starts: MONDAY, JANUARY 24 AT 7 P.M. ONLINE & WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 26 at 9:30 a.m. IN-PERSON Location: The Divine Mercy Parish Center at Sacred Heart INTERESTED? We hope you'll join us at St. Philip the Apostle Church on Sunday, December 12th at 9:30 a.m. for our Children's Ministry Christmas Pageant, featuring our 3rd and 4th graders. A reception will be held immediately following the pageant in the Church vestibule. Join us! The following is the Mass schedule for both of our worship sites:
